StriveCQ was formed in 2023 and has been building strong momentum throughout 2025 to:
- encourage, promote and support local individuals, families and communities in their pursuit of sporting opportunities and pathways;
- provide development, training and education opportunities for talented athletes in the Central Queensland region across a range of sports and disciplines, aimed at progressing athletes, coaches and officials to a higher level of performance, while keeping them close to family support networks;
- promote the establishment of centralised facilities and amenities for the regional delivery of services that benefit users in their pursuit of personal sporting development;
- foster a safe, fair and inclusive environment and encourage a sense of community spirit and social interaction.
The StriveCQ Committee consists of representatives from local sport, allied health, education and local and state government.
